Books and Such

Unicorn Limited, Inc. has a mail-order business but is also found at many of the Highland games and festivals. I've dropped a few bucks at their booth!  To put in a good word, they are also more reasonably priced than other book vendors I've run across at the games.

Scottish History

Scone Mac's comprehensive site of history and a wealth of other goodies.

Skye's really comprehensive site.

Scotweb's Scottish History Magazine

Scottish Tartans

Scots Leid

Scots Haunbuik (this site was "lost" for a wee bit, but it can now be found on the Electric Scotland website. Thanks Alastair!)

Wir Ain Leid - Our Own Language

Whoa! I won an award for passing a Scots language test!

Award!

7N Fan Pages

My Highland Hangout--great site! One of my favorites. There's a 7N Fan Forum, lots of pix, chat...everything a fan could want. She's added a greeting card feature, too. Aaron's 7N Page--he's my nephew and has become a dyed-in-the-wool 7N fan. He usually takes along his digital camera to their gigs, and so he's got a ton of really excellent pix on his site.
Fiona's--includes great pix from her trip to Scotland.
See Liz's for the Kiltie Focus newsletter, an excellent source for upcoming shows, reviews on recent road trips, plus pix. Celtic Songbird--Sharon is also building a nice site.
Dad Z's Neil Anderson Fan Page--numerous pix of Neil in various venues with his new ensembles, plus a place to sign up for Neil's totally untraditional fan club. The Clan MacRogue site is a definite hoot! You will see photos of his Lairdship's past Summer Progressions. This is a 5-haggis site in the amusement category. There is also an excellent message board connected to the MacRogue site. Everything from silly to serious is discussed there. Stop by and join in!

E-Zines

Highlander -- an awesome site!

U.S. Scots

The Herald -- news from across the Pond

Scottish Banner

Am Braighe -- from Cape Breton, partly in Gaelic

Miscellaneous Really Good Stuff

Electric Scotland  the international Scottish community site where Scots meet from around the world on the webboard systems. Also, find out about clans, tartans, history, today's news and more. Plus, Scottish midis and haggis stories.

Realms of Fantasy is an ambitious new site underway, expected to be a  repository of all manner of things fantasy-related. Already there is an excellent and unique variety of electronic cards.

Geoffrey (Tailor) kiltmaker, plus other Highland Gear. They now have a booth at the larger Games. My own kilted skirt was made by them, and it is expertly done. I'm very pleased with their craftsmanship. Also, they have the New Millennium kilts. Nice!

The Gathering of the Clans has just about everything. Each Clan included on their site has its own messaging area, plus a few other messaging areas for genealogical questions, history buffs, and just plain chat. They have added a new sister-site for those of Irish ancestry.

Every Celtic Thing on the Net Need I say more?

My Cyber-friend Maggie's site--history, travel in Scotland, info on B&B's, and tons of links.

Celtic Web Art   Wonderful resource!
